Tom created the Bulleit Distilling Company for the sole purpose of reviving his great-great grandfather Augustus Bulleit’s legendary bourbon. Based on a special recipe influenced by the Bulleit family’s knowledge of French brandy making, Bulleit Bourbon hadn’t been in production since 1860. A native of Louisville and graduate of the University of Louisville School of Law, Tom oversaw the distillation of the first batch of the modern Bulleit bourbon in 1987. Today, a variety of Bulleit bourbons and rye whiskeys are distributed internationally and are regarded by critics as some of world’s best whiskeys. For more information about Tom, click here.
